Portuguese handmade preserves

Portugal has two traditions of preserving. One from the sea, tuna in olive oil, sardine pâté, roe, and one from the land, fig jam, jellies, chutneys, cured sausage. The national industry packs for the big brands. Here you will only find the small producers who still fill by hand, seal hot, and date the batch. Preserves keep between six months and two years depending on the product, and each listing says which.

This category is on its way, we are bringing producers on board. Check back soon.
