How you buy
Find, order, receive.
There's no Lavora warehouse. Every piece is made by the maker, in their own workshop, and shipped directly to you. It takes a little longer than buying from a big brand. That's the point.
1 · Find what you're looking for
Filter by category (cheese, honey, sweets, preserves, ceramics, textiles, soaps, basketry) or by region, or by maker. Every piece shows the name of who made it, where it was made, and the story behind it. Read, look at the photos, decide with context.
2 · Choose how you want to receive it
Three options: courier shipping (CTT/DPD, 2–4 business days), maker hand-delivery in a chosen window, or pickup at the workshop. Not all makers offer all three, you'll see what's available at checkout.
3 · The maker prepares and ships
You get an email confirming the order. Another when the maker starts preparing. Another with tracking when it ships. For hand-delivery or pickup, you arrange the time directly with the maker.
4 · You receive
Confirm you got it and it's good. If something's off, talk to us before confirming. You have 14 days to mediate.
Who sells to you
Every purchase is a direct contract between you and the maker. The invoice is issued in their name (registered name and tax ID, shown on the product page and order confirmation). Lavora operates the platform and mediates, but is not the selling party.
Where your money goes
The maker sets the amount they want to receive for the piece, and they receive all of it. Lavora's fee is added on top, not taken from the maker. The price you see already includes everything, with no hidden service charge at the end.
Secure payment
Pay by card (Visa, Mastercard), MB Way, or Multibanco through Stripe, the same system used by Apple, Amazon, or Glovo. Lavora never sees your card details.
