Look at the current landscape and a worrying pattern emerges. A small number of chains dominate the local economy, dictating prices and dictating what gets produced. Those who produce little, but produce well, find themselves stuck between selling at large-distribution prices (which barely cover costs) and trying to survive within a 30 km radius of where they work.

Lavora is an attempt to build, alongside this system, an alternative that works. All across the country there are people producing things of quality. Cheese, honey, ceramics, wood, textiles, preserves. All made with time, with care, with dedication. Most of these makers cannot reach beyond the local market. Lavora was built to change that.

If you make, you will reach the whole country without needing to set up an online store or compete with groups working on far larger budgets. Your work will be seen by people who are genuinely looking for it.

We do not require exclusivity. If you already have your own shop, your own direct channels, your presence at fairs, you keep all of it. Lavora is a complementary channel, not a replacement. The maker chooses what to sell with us, and everything else they do stays as it is.

If you buy, here you'll get to know the maker before you buy. Each one has their own profile, story, and direct contact. By choosing a Lavora product, you support a small maker directly and help keep alive ways of making that would otherwise disappear.

We're not chasing volume. We're looking for people who master a way of making and do it well. We visit every workshop before approving it. We look for names and stories, not industrial brands.

Whatever the maker's tax status, Lavora stays in the middle protecting both sides. We keep a record of every transaction and, if something goes wrong, we stay with you until it's resolved. Your consumer rights are always guaranteed.
