Products from Ribatejo

The Ribatejo is the plain of the Tagus. Across the Lezíria go the horse, the bull and the rice of the fields. From here come the goat cheese of Coelhos, the wines of the Tejo, the convent sweets of Tomar and Almoster, and the willow basket used for the olive harvest. These are the small producers who keep the trade alive on the riverbank.
