Portuguese handmade soap

Cold-process saponification. Vegetable oils, caustic soda, time. No synthetic fragrance, no colourants, no industrial additives. What comes out is a dense bar that lasts, and that is kind to the skin and to the drains. These are the Portuguese soap makers who still work that way, in small batches, with a four to six week cure, using local ingredients (olive oil, goat's milk, honey, herbs). Every bar states the method and the ingredients.
